Desjardins’ recent project-based work expands upon her interests in re-purposing vernacular visual language
through the creation of site-inspired works, painting, drawing, video, and collaborative performance.
She earned her MFA in painting in Florence, Italy, where she worked closely with members of the Italian Radical Design movement, with whom she currently collaborates as a parallel practice of engaged experiential pedagogy.
She teaches at the University of Chicago.
