If the UIC MFA cohorts of 2021 and 2022 open their studios on Friday, November 13, from 7pm to 9pm and no one is around to hear them, will they make a sound? Yes, because they are GOING LIVE on Instagram (http://instagram.com/uicsaah)! Join them for a night of studio tours, live discussions, and an intimate view of the diverse practices of 20 artists in Chicago. Follow MFA candidates Oleksandra Chuprina and Nick Jackson through the halls of the historic Formfit Brassiere factory (now the home of the Art Program and Gallery 400) in what will hopefully be our one-time-only virtual open studio event!
