Chelsea’s Trivia Night

@ Gray Center for Arts and Inquiry

Opening Thursday, June 18th, from 7PM - 8PM

“Life is wild right now, first, Corona put us in a time out, and now we are reminding people that Black lives do indeed matter. With the multitude of resistance going on, Chelsea’s Trivia Night is here to remind you that joy is a form of resistance, Black laughter is a form of resistance. Inspired by Urban Dictionary, Chelsea wants to know if you can decipher the “True or False” statement, “Fill in the Blank”, and Identify correct answers to earn points. Do you like trivia? Can you do it for the culture? If so Chelsea’s Trivia Night is for you.” ~ Chelsea A. Flowers

This performance is part of Another Idea, an actual conceptual art exhibition at the Gray Center for Arts + Inquiry. Artworks in Another Idea are inherently ephemeral. Many will unfold over time and appear at various moments over the course of the exhibition. Some works are contingent on your participation, while others are iterative and will transform from one medium into another. Exhibition details: https://graycenter.uchicago.edu/projects/another-idea
