This time around, we’re changing up what Art After Work looks like!

Join us at Art After Work this month for a facilitated art workshop inspired by the work of self-taught artist Joseph Yoakum. Using materials easily found at home, Intuit educator Paula Santos will help you create your own personalized, imaginative landscape, what Yoakum is most well known for.

This workshop is for everyone, including beginners and people who say they “aren’t artists.” (We can all be artists!)

Here are some suggested materials you can gather for Art After Work:
–Paper (printer paper, notebook paper, paper grocery bags, cardboard, etc.)
–Pencil, pen or anything you can fashion into a writing instrument
–Materials to add color (paint, color pencils, collage pieces from junk mail, spices mixed with water, Intuit’s Henry Darger-inspired homemade watercolors, etc.)
–Glue, scissors or tape

This event is a guided workshop and instruction will begin at 5 p.m.

Intuit will email Eventbrite RSVPers two hours before the event with the Zoom link to join. We’ll also post it here. Looking forward to creating with you then!
