Speaking Truths Series: Queer Asian American/Asian Diaspora Storytelling will return to the National Cambodian Heritage Museum on Wednesday March 18. The show starts at 7:30pm.

$5 suggested donation, but we won’t turn anyone away. All proceeds will go to tellers.

This project is in collaboration with i2i Invisible 2 Invincible: Asian Pacific Islander Pride of Chicago and Trikone Chicago. It is made possible by the Asian Giving Circle grant.

Speaking Truths Series is produced and hosted by Ada Cheng, a professor-turned-storyteller, solo performer, and storytelling show producer. She has been featured at storytelling shows and performed her two solo shows all over the country. Ada is the producer and the host of four storytelling shows, including Pour One Out: A Monthly Storytelling Series, Am I Man Enough?: A Storytelling/Podcasting Show, Talk Stories: An Asian American/Asian Diaspora Storytelling Show, and Speaking Truths Series.

Speaking Truths Series seeks to bring performance art to community spaces. This show is open to and inclusive of people of all identities, backgrounds, and experiences. We are committed to developing and cultivating new and emerging tellers.
