Dec 1st 2019

Join us for “Tarot & Intention: New Energy through Art” with Teshika Silver, organized by Rhonda Wheatley. Brunch included.

December can be a hard time of year for many people. Participants in this workshop will be involved in a group tarot reading based around the theme of “home is where the heart is,” and what kind of energy they would like to bring into the year 2020. Maybe making new traditions? Changing your ideas about what “family” and “home” look like? We’ll have the opportunity to reflect through art or mood boarding. We’ll share our insights and reflect on the year to come. At the end you’ll come away with a piece of art and a new year intention!

Teshika makes her living as an illustrator and designer. She is also the founder and co-runner of QUIC (Queer Underground Illustrators of Chicago) events, a teaching artist, and an avid student of tarot, astrology and all things esoteric and metaphysical. She has been reading tarot for 3 years and uses intuitive and empathetic methods for her mindful interpretations.
