Lester Rey is setting off on his next journey and needs your help! His slick outfits, gadgets, gizmos, instrumentos, collectibles (anime, figures, comics, records) will all be available for sale and/or auctioned off just in time for the holidays.
Indie community artists don’t have traditional label backing, nor do they want it at the high cost to an artist’s art and self. Instead, they turn to community, music lovers, fans, friends, and family to continue building cultura. You are our label!
In 2019 alone, Lester Rey released 2 EPs (3rd one to drop late Dec), set up 2 nationwide tours, and several music videos, including his most popular song Santuario, which garnered over 45k streams on Spotify alone. These costs amounted to over the thousands, and as an example Santuario only made about 100 on Spotify, no where near what that kind of success once paid. In order to continue making music, continue building a music career, and rep Chicago, Lester Rey has decided to travel to where the industry is at, New York. Will you help him reach his goal?
The goal is $3000 and together we can make this work:
1st: A subscription to bandcamp gets you all the music and more starting at $3 a month which goes a long way to acquiring the studio time, directors fee, graphic designer, etc.
2nd: LesterRey.com has the auction and market items up for purchase just in time for Christmas
3rd: come to this event, donations are $5-10 at the door, buy a beer provided by PBR and Pilsen Outpost is providing Lagunitas yall. And don’t forget to grab a ticket for the raffle items
We’ll feed y’all, no worries 😉 pues first come first to grab a plate
