LUMPEN COMICS BOOK RELEASE
FRIDAY, AUG 30, 7-Midnight!
We are releasing our first ever Lumpen Comics Book !
Fifty-seven brilliant artists have created work for this celebration of contemporary comics culture in Chicago and beyond.
The 170 page soft cover, perfect bound Lumpen Comics Book ( issue #134) will be released on Friday, August 30, from 7pm- midnight at the Co-Prosperity Sphere ( 3219 S Morgan Street, Chicago Il 60608 ) There will be an exhibition of all the work in the gallery. Music by Drew Ryan, Hunter Husar and Fetter will be performed and beverages will be available.
The event is free!
We will also be releasing an extremely limited Marz Community Brewing Lumpen Boogie beer, with the label designed by Lumpen Comics Book cover artist, Ben Marcus. We are offering a package deal where you can get a 4 pack of the Lumpen Boogie beer and the book for pick up at the August 30th event. You must be 21 and over to purchase this package.
We are taking pre-orders of the book. It’s $15 a copy when you pre-order for pick up at the event or come to the event and purchase one in person that night.
