About the #SeptemberKickback Series
In 2017, PrEP4Love and Start Talking. Stop HIV teamed up to present free, sex-positive and joyous kickbacks in September to help close out the summer. Presented in partnership with Chicago-based community organizations and initiatives, the September Kickback series returns to help increase awareness around HIV-prevention, promote holistic health and wellness and amplify the voices of artists and performers along the gender spectrum.
The #BreathingRoom space is the #LetUsBreathe Collective’s arts, healing, & organizing hub on Chicago South Side. It is a Black-led liberatory space that produces cultural events, builds coalition with the Chicago resistance community, and incubates programs that aim to force prisons and policing into obsolescence.
