Chicago Alliance of Visual Artists (CAVA) announces its upcoming juried exhibition “LATER IMPRESSIONS 2018”. Scheduled for September 4 – 26, 2018 in the Leslie Wolf Gallery in Chicago’s Old Town at 1763 N. North Park, Chicago, IL. Artist reception and awards ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, September 9, 2018 from 2:00 – 6:00PM at the gallery. Gallery hours are Monday – Saturday: 8:00AM – 6:00PM, Sunday: 8:00AM – 2:00PM. Featured in the exhibit will be original artwork including paintings, sculpture and photography from 45 artists.
Noted jurors for the “LATER IMPRESSIONS 2018” show include: Keith Bringe, Rare Nest Gallery founder and director; Pamela Hobbs, fine art photographer; and Jeanne Long, Chicago Collections Executive Director.
Chicago Alliance of Visual Artists (CAVA) is a not-for-profit organization of visual artists in the Chicago area aged 50 and older. Founded in 1988, CAVA artists have exhibited in many of Chicago area’s most notable art venues including the Chicago Cultural Center, Evanston Art Center, Noyes Cultural Art Center, Beverly Art Center, Bridgeport Art Center and the Old Town Art Center. CAVA membership currently numbers over 150 senior artists.
