Witness the crowd.

On October 1, Chicagoans from all 50 wards will come to Cloud Gate in Millennium Park for the North American debut of CROWD OUT, from Pulitzer Prize-winning composer David Lang.

With 1,000 performers from across the Chicagoland area, Lang’s piece explores what it means to be part of a crowd through shouts and whispers, cheers and song. Join Chicago Humanities Festival and Illinois Humanities to watch the final performance, led by conductors Donald Nally and Tim Munro. Attendance is free, all you have to do is show up!
