Kate Zambreno is the author of two novels, O Fallen Angel and Green Girl (both published by Harper Perennial). She is also the author of two other highly original books that meld memoir, philosophy, art and literary criticism, and poetry, Heroines and Book of Mutter, published by Semiotext(e). Zambreno is currently at work on a small series of books about time, memory, and the persistence of art, which includes Drifts, a novel for Harper Perennial.

Continuing along pathways taking shape in her recent writing—often thinking about pictures, seeing, and the collage—Zambreno responds to the work of Astrid Klein and B. Ingrid Olson in a new essay written for the occasion.

Zambreno’s talk will take place in the gallery at the Renaissance Society.
