Opening Monday, December 12th, from 6:30PM - 8:30PM
Wrote is a series of gatherings that bring together arts and culture writers, platform-builders and media-makers in Chicago that will kick off this December with Wrote One at Rootwork Gallery and continue at various locations throughout the city into 2017.
These convenings are an invitation to Chicagoans who use audio, video, photography, and writing, or provide a digital/physical space to publish stories and critical thought about art + culture happening outside of mainstream purview, particularly those whose content aligns with the mission and vision of Sixty.
This is an opportunity for us to get to know one another, voice thoughts on the local and national cultural media and publishing landscape, get a deeper understanding of what we all do or want to do, while getting in some coalition building.
Whether or not you are able to attend this first event, we would like to get to know all of you and the work you are doing in these fields. Prior to Dec 12th, we ask that you tell us about yourself at this link: http://bit.ly/2gbafPQ
This gathering is free and open to all writers in the field. We’ll bring snacks and refreshments, and you’re welcome to bring snacks and BYOB to share.
