Pilsen Outpost is ecstatic to present solo exhibit, “MOTHER NATURE”, by artist Lauren Feece!

In this exhibition, Lauren shares a very personal journey with us through enchanting, mystical, and even dreamlike mixed media works. Her story is that of self exploration and embracing every element of her life as Woman, Mother, Artist and her bond to Mother Nature herself.

Excerpts from Mother Nature artist statement:
“Mother Nature explores through narrative self portrait.
It tells the story of my life as I imagine.
– In the first chapters it tells the story of becoming a mother:
I traveled down through my depths into the roots of trees, and lived under the world.
– In the next chapters I tell the story of my ancestry:
I walk down the matrilineal line. I imagine all of my mothers. I daydream their lives. I see their faces and I hear their voices. Their secrets come to me.
– These are the stories I have written to give myself power, to teach myself the steps in the dance of a mother who is an artist.” – Lauren Feece

Please join us on Friday, September 2nd, 6-11pm for an opening reception with the artist.
