Join us Tuesday October 7th at 7pm for an artist talk by sculptor Nick Rummler. This is the ninth installment of the 2014 Lillstreet Artists Lecture Series.

About the Artist:
Nicholas Rummler is a sculptor, fabricator, and educator based in Chicago. He received his BFA from the University of Minnesota and his MFA from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He currently works for the School of Architecture and the School of Design at the University of Illinois at Chicago as an instructor and fabrication specialist. Rummler works in a space between sculpture, painting, and assemblage. His work focuses on process and on forms, using the simplest of materials, and often at a small scale.

About the Series:
Lillstreet is proud to offer a second year of the Lillstreet Artists Lecture Series. Local emerging and mid-career artists, critics, and curators are invited to give 45 minute presentations on their work in the Lillstreet Loft, located down the street from the art center at 4437 N Ravenswood Ave, Chicago IL. The Lillstreet Artists Lecture Series is the curatorial project of Gwendolyn Zabicki. All lectures are free and open to the public.
