We are beaming with smiles to invite you to the upcoming art crawl on steroids in the River North gallery district on September 5th.

This event runs from 5-8PM throughout the open galleries and in the streets centering around the corner of Franklin and Superior. Everything is free, and everyone is invited.

Galleries: Addington Gallery, Andrew Bae Gallery, Architech, Catherine Edelman Gallery, Hilton | Asmus Contemporary, Jean Albano Gallery, Robert Jendra Studio and Gallery, Jennifer Norback Fine Art, Judy A Saslow Gallery, Josef Glimer Gallery, Maya Polsky Gallery, Printworks, The Project Room, The Rangefinder Gallery, Roy Boyd Gallery, Ken Saunders Gallery, Vale Craft Gallery, Schneider Gallery, and Zygman Voss Gallery.

Food & beverage: Angel’s Envy, Ay! Chiwowa, Havana, Lagunitas, Revolution Brewery, Swim Cafe, Under The Table Supper Club, Papa Ray’s Pizza, Good Vines and Wormhole Coffee.

Gallery Events: A demo of amazing new Hasselblad cameras at Rangefinder Gallery; a round-table discussion with artists Kenneth Josephson and Marilyn Zimmerwoman at Jennifer Norback (RSVP); artists Richard Parish and Paul Messink will be present at Vale Craft and artist Nicholas Sistler will be there for the opening of his exhibition at Printworks Gallery

On The Street: Love Life People by Johnny Michaels, Untitled by Jonathan Murach, installation by Imago, Reversion by Dana Parisi, One Person One Photo Professional Pedi Cab Gallery by Amanda Olbrys, photo booth by Ross Bacon, performance by Terra 5, and Fleures de Guerre by @Stuart Hall.

Performance Artists curated by Defibrillator: A Hitchhike to Utopia by Daniela Ehemann and Carron Little, Collective Cleaners, Justus Harris, Spontaneous Art

Critical Talks: Start at 6pm at Schneider Gallery (230 W Superior), beginning with an artist talk with Laura Hart Newlon and Daniel Hojnacki, then followed by a talk with Aron Packer and Claire Molek entitled “Talking about Accessibility and other appropriate or mildly incendiary stuff regarding the gallery world with Aron Packer” at 6.40pm, and a talk with Don’t Fret entitled “This Is What I Have To Say, but I may have more to say later at 7:30”.
