Join us in celebrating the opening of “Think Through”, the latest exhibit in the Center’s second floor gallery. Andrius Kulikauskas, resident artist at Imagine Englewood if…, has created an installation that invites the active engagement of visitors. Andrius has transformed the Center’s upstairs gallery space into a walk-through, transparent labyrinth reflecting his lifelong philosophical commitment to the application of knowledge and the quest to discover absolute truth.

About the Artist
Andrius earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of California–San Diego. He marks his artistic beginnings to oil pastel drawings he created six years ago. These caught the attention of artists involved in Republic of Uzhupis, an artist enclave in Lithuania’s capital city, Vilnius. Andrius created his first installation there and then brought his artistic energy and vision to Chicago. This is Andrius’ second installation at the South Side Community Art Center.
