“As years become decades, we remember both the people and experiences that create the texture of our lives. Our stories become linked with others, and the closer our bonds the more we share. Yet we might wonder if we can share similar experiences with a work of art, as they in their own way, accompany us throughout our lives.” – Neil Goodman

Join us for a guided sculpture walk and seated conversation with Block collection artist Neil Goodman, on the occasion of the conservation of his work Subjects-Objects at The Block. Exploring selected works in our Block Campus Art Walk and his own work and practice, Goodman will share reflections on Subjects-Objects and what it means to create a work of public sculpture.

This program will begin with an outdoor walk, weather permitting, and end in the Block Auditorium. Please meet us outside the museum. RSVP appreciated, but not required.
