CAD’s newest exhibition brings Punk music values to the gallery through an exploration of alternative modes of expression and visualizing through resistance. “Arte, Cultura, y Resistencia” features fourteen Chicago artists centering their practice around cultural heritage, activism and dedication to their respective neighborhoods across Chicago and beyond.
Artists in the show include Joseph Josué Mora, Mony Nuñez, Arturo Fresán, Luis Trejo, Hector Duarte, Martin Sorrondeguy, Ricardo X. Serment, Diana Solis, Pete Rangel, Felipe De Sousa, Milo Mendoza, and Ocho Manos Collective.
While you’re here, support our resident artists and local vendors at our Fall Pop Up CAD MRKT, also taking place on Friday behind our main gallery. Don’t miss an action packed night of great work, local vendors, live music, DJs, tasty drinks by @5rabbitbrewery, and more!
We will be open, 6-10pm. Please bring a mask.
