The work of Daniel Flood and Marc Benja
This exhibition is a play on hard edge lines in contrast to soft renderings.
Marc Benja owns an artist-run exhibition space where he features artist from varied backgrounds around the world. Marc’s paintings are formed with playful shapes in analogous color schemes, with very soft and diffused mark making.
Daniel Flood makes paintings that are carefully composed with an arrangement of solid colors, in varying shades. The colors that Flood uses are bright and layered with intention, with close attention to clean details.
The pairing of their work together is a play on line and edge relationship, showing how two different hands can form a beautiful cohesive show.
Opening reception takes place August 13 2021 from 5-10PM
and the show will be up through September 4th.
