Opening Saturday, July 10th, from 1PM - 4PM
On view through Monday, August 30th
Bert Green Fine Art is pleased to present two summer groups shows to celebrate the reopening of the Chicago art scene and to introduce to in-person visitors many new works that were created in recent years but rarely seen due to pandemic restrictions on public events.
Very Small Paintings highlights seven artists who may work in other media and at many different scales, but who for this show, have offered their smallest works for an installation that celebrates intimacy and up-close relationships: two things that many people were forced to do without for most of the past 16 months. The artists are Camille Rose Garcia, Grey James, Linda LaBella, Jeff Britton, Morgan Sims, Victoria Reynolds, and Sandra Yagi.
Prints Published During the Pandemic is a selection of limited edition prints published by Bert Green Fine Art between late 2019 and today. Most of these works were offered as web-only releases, but have never been shown in person. This is the first time they will be presented in the gallery for exhibition. The prints are by Shepard Fairey, Moira Hahn, Stephen Kaltenbach, Sandra Yagi, Jeff Gillette, and Rebecca Gray Smith.
