Crip Ecologies: Kay Ulanday Barrett & Petra Kuppers
@ Poetry Foundation
Opening Thursday, March 25th, from 7PM - 8PM
Join us for a reading and moderated discussion with Kay Ulanday Barrett and Petra Kuppers centering the intersection of disability justice and ecopoetics. How can access culture further the project of mutually sustaining care, for each other, kin species, and the planet?
This program is part of the Poetry Coalition’s annual nationwide programming series, spanning 25 independent poetry organizations and 11 cities. In 2021, the Poetry Coalition takes inspiration from these lines by Linda Hogan:
“It is burning.
It is dreaming.
It is waking up.”
Poetry Foundation’s events are completely free of charge and open to the public. This reading will include live captioning and ASL interpretation. If you require any other accessibility measures, please contact us by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
