MentorWorks: Mentoring in Crisis
Wednesday, February 24, 2021 – 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm

MentorWorks is a workshop series for mentors, coaches, managers, and supervisors to develop new professional skills, explore new ideas, and connect with a professional network of peers.

Mentoring in Crisis
Clinical psychologist and mental health advocate Dr. Anat Geva leads two online, interactive sessions.

Build a framework for connecting in crisis, with skills you can apply right now and far-reaching benefits for facing future challenges.

Living through the COVID-19 crisis can be stressful and induce a sense of grief. Grief is a universal response to the loss of a loved one—and it is a natural response to the pandemic-related losses many are experiencing, such as loss of routine, security, professional identity, social connections, and certainty about the future.

How can we mentor people through this time of uncertainty—when we may be facing the same challenges in our own lives?

Sessions sold individually. But you’ll benefit most if you participate in both.

Workshop 1: Vulnerability as Strength
Wednesday, February 24 from noon to 1:30 pm

In spite of what we think we know about projecting strength, the ability to share vulnerability is vital to the success and productivity of connection-building, including in the mentor-mentee dyad. Through an immersive exercise, learn to reframe your vulnerabilities as strengths that are fundamental for growth and collaboration. Purchase tickets for Workshop 1 Here

Workshop 2: Building Resilience
Tuesday, March 16, 2021 from noon to 1:30 pm

Developing resilience is essential for psychological and spiritual growth. In this session’s interactive activity, learn to maximize resilience in your life and within the mentor-mentee relationship.

At the conclusion of each session, you will be able to put into practice skills necessary for intentional collaborative problem solving.
