On Sunday September 13, 2020 join Chicago artist and musician Ryan Miller at Fulton Street Collective a solo exhibition. His rapid journey from tv painting show enthusiast to abstract artist can be best described as a “sudden escalation”, as he trades happy little trees for abstract expressionism.
In 2018, Chicago native Ryan Miller began painting along with Bob Ross videos as a diversion from his 30 year career as a professional musician. He has since traded mighty mountains and happy little trees for abstraction rooted in a deep admiration of the expressionists of The New York School.
