In the training course, we’ll go through the Project Management Institute processes of initiation, planning, execution, monitor and control, and closure. The plans we will cover are scope, schedule, costs/budget, work breakdowns and activities, resources and team, communications, risk, procurement, and stakeholder management. Tools and resources will be provided such as: stakeholder analysis worksheets; requirement matrixes; business case evaluations; and asset maps. Whether you are new or experienced in project management, you’ll be able to walk away with takeaways to start or improve projects.
Prep Prompts – please think about and come prepared with answers to these prompts.
1. What is a project you want to do and have not started yet?
2. For that project, what is the goal?
3. Then try to identify a project you have completed in the recent past. Can you think of one? If not, that is OK! Just take a minute or so to see if you can identify one.
