Working on your character designs, script, thumbnails, or pages? Come do it with company! All skill levels are welcome – it doesn’t matter if you’ve been making comics for years or if this is your very first try.

What will we be doing?:

Working on comic-focused projects. Some folks work on scripts, some on pencils, or inking, or character design, or thumbnails… you can do whatever you feel like! We usually work for an hour and a half with music and light chatter, then do a quick show-and-tell at 8:30.

What should I bring?:

Whatever you need to work on your stuff. There are power outlets if you want to bring your laptop and/or tablet, and plenty of room if you have 11×17 pages to work on. At minimum you’re going to want paper and some sort of drawing/writing utensil.

How do I get there?:

We’ll meet at the Harold Washington Library, in the north study room on the 7th floor. Go left from the escalators, past the author’s reading room, and left along the far wall until you hit it. It’s in the far north-east corner.

Leave a comment or contact your friendly neighborhood organizer if you have any questions. Hope to see you there!
