A home is not a house, an apartment, or a suite, a
home is a found space, soft and warm
cookies and ice-cream during winter
time goes by slowly in the cafe by my
house is the name of the
structure builds a community, and it creates memories of
nostalgic space reminiscing those that left us behind and those we left behind the doors where all your loved ones
exist in every country and society and home is always
safe is the most important feeling for ones home to
have you felt like you belonged? Have you felt
loved? is a home loved or is it the things inside that are loved, or is where a home is that is loved? or maybe the
people come together as humanity and societies, which therefore produce communities. My house is where the parties
happen to be made of relationships and not bricks

“I should say: The house shelters day-dreaming, the house protects the dreamer, the house allows one to dream in peace.”

—Gaston Bachelard, The Poetics of Space

Homescape gathers artwork inspired by the domestic space. The idea of a living space is examined through literal, metaphorical and contemplative formats. This exhibition features work made by Edra Soto art students from the Contemporary Practices Department of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
