Join Afriware Books as we celebrate Kwanzaa and the principle of Ujima (Collective Work & Responsibility – To build and maintain our community together and to make our sisters and brothers problems our problems and to solve them together)! There will be food, an African Marketplace, African drumming, and a book signing!

African marketplace is open from 12PM – 5PM.
Keynote address is at 2PM.

Keynote speakers are Dr. Margena A. Christian, author of “Empire: The House That John H. Johnson Built” and Wallace Safford, author of “Wally, Where’d You Get Those Glasses? My Life Through the Lens of Parliament, Pendergrass and Prince.”

Our event MC is author Jarrett Robinson, author of “I Can Be Anything” and “Paris J’s Big Day.”

African Drumming will Atiba Y. Jali.
