Grant Writing Workshops with Olivia Junell
at Experimental Sound Studio
Free

Get help with your grants this fall! ESS’s Director of Development & Outreach Olivia Junell will meet with artists in 20 minute sessions to provide feedback and consultation on grant writing. These sessions are especially timely for the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events Individual Artist Program* grant (opens October 22, due December 5), however she is happy to discuss any grant that you have in the works.

Sign up for a one-on-one session at the ticket link. Attendees are encouraged to send a draft of their grant proposal ahead of time to olivia@ess.org.

*Please note, this service is in no way affiliated with the Department of Cultural Affairs & Special Events. You can find official training sessions for this grant on their website here. Sessions at ESS are meant to provide individualized help with grants and do not guarantee funding.

Olivia Junell currently works as Director of Development & Outreach at Experimental Sound Studio and as the Managing Director at the Hyde Park Jazz Festival. A native Texan, Olivia moved to Chicago in 2013 to pursue a dual Masters in Arts Administration and Public Policy and Modern Art History and Critical Writing at the School of the Art Institute Chicago. Before moving Olivia worked in development at arts non-profits in Austin and Houston, most recently spending five years as Development Manager at the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston.
