Join us for a reading, Q and A, and book sale and signing with Grace Talusan!

Event is free and all are welcome! Join us to celebrate the book and also the beginning of Filipino American History Month! Free lumpia and pancit appetizers!

Grace Talusan’s critically acclaimed memoir The Body Papers, a New York Times Editors’ Choice selection, powerfully explores the fraught contours of her own life as a Filipino immigrant and survivor of cancer and childhood abuse.

Directions: Go to the 7900 W. Division, River Forest, IL address. You can park in the Visitor’s Circle there or in the uncovered or garage parking lots next to the Circle. The reading is in the Springer Suites, which is in the lower-level of Crown Library across from the Cyber Cafe. The Library is the 1950s building in the center of campus; there is a ramp from the outside parking lot to Springer. Parking is free, no permit is required.
