May 31st 2019

This workshop, led by Artist in Residence KT Duffy, will combine data sorting algorithms with other processing methods and functions to create abstracted pixel-based compositions and “glitch” images. This workshop is open to all skill levels, no prior coding experience needed! Students of NEIU’s Art + Technology Program will be on hand to help troubleshoot and aid in the creation of awesome stuff. Participants will leave with a “artifact” print of their composition created in the workshop.

After the workshop, KT will give an artist talk on their practice.

This event is free but an RSVP is required for the workshop.

Workshop (space limited): 6-7pm
Artist Talk: 7-8pm
