Local artist Kristen Neveu has a unique approach to painting and has developed a meditative practice that helps manage the stressors of the day. Join us as she shares her practice and create a beautiful piece of art as stress relief!

In this 1/2 day workshop, Kristen will take you through the steps she takes of choosing a palette, attacking a blank canvas, and letting the composition and work emerge with each stroke of the brush.

From Kristen: Painting helps me clear my head of the clutter of each day – the internet and the social feeds, the negative vibes competing for attention through headlines and updates, and the stressful environment that can surround us each day. I paint to capture a moment and to stop these whirling anxieties. Painting serves as meditation to me. To live in the moment and think only for those minutes of what’s in front of me on the canvas is truly a gift.
