Join us for his show of new work by Ben and Melissa Blount.

The history of Black people in America is filled with stories of discovery, innovation, and achievement. Behind these many stories are the unheralded contributions of Black women–mothers of revolution, sisters of invention, and wielders of black girl magic. Black women are the authors of an incredible history.

This black history narrative is dedicated to the contributions Black women have made, told letter by letter and word by word through hand-printed letterpress posters and hand-embroidered household textiles. American history is incomplete without Black history And Black history doesn’t exist without Black women.

The show runs through March 7.
