Parlor Room Presents: Ornella Fieres
Ornella Fieres is a German multimedia artist living in Berlin. Her work deals with the transitions between the analogue and digital space, as well as with the loss and transformation of data and energy in an attempt to capture and transmit moments via recording technologies.
In 2017 she became a fellow at New Lab New York / Simons Foundation where she developed am algorithm-based photography series and a video/sound installation that she would later exhibit in her second solo-show at Sexauer Gallery Berlin, where she is represented since 2016. In 2018 she had her first group show in the US at NurtureArt Gallery followed by her first American solo-exhibition at signs & symbols NYC.
