ICUQTS IS AN ALL AGES EVENT!
Icuqts is created and presented by TrQpiteca: a Chicago-based artist duo and production company creating space for local and international artists working with queer and tropical aesthetics to experiment and thrive. Since 2015, co-founders Natalie Mercedes (La Spacer) and Jacquelyn Carmen Guerrero (Cqqchifruit) have curated this cultural platform as an intersection between art, queer culture, and dance music, with the intention of fostering creative engagement with the diverse communities of which we are a part.
The building is accessed through a grassy parking lot. The first floor where the vendors, community organizations, film & video screenings, workshops, and guest speakers will be is wheelchair accessible, including the restrooms. The second floor where the performances and visual art will be is not wheelchair accessible. However, Performances will be viewable from the first floor screening room through a live/audio video feed. Additionally, visual art displayed on the second floor will be viewable digitally via monitor or projector. Wheelchairs users interested in attending please contact email@example.com with any further questions!
