Forms & Features

@ Compound Yellow

244 Lake St, Oak Park, IL 60302

Opening Monday, September 17th, from 6PM - 8PM

All experience levels are welcome to a discussion and creative workshop led by Poetry Foundation Library Coordinator Maggie Queeney. In November, we focus on the refrain, repeating phrases or lines the poet John Hollander claimed “are, and have, memories.”

The group will explore aspects and effects of refrain in a wide range of poems. A creative workshop, where participants will be guided through composing original poems, will conclude the session. To register, please email info@compoundyellow.com.
