The works in this solo exhibition use the platform of concert posters for underground cultural activities. They are inspired by the punk DIY attitude and printing techniques, such as stencils, copy-machines, spray-paint, screen-printing, and mono-printing. Most of the pieces were created by using a Rorschach-like process of symmetrical blots produced by folding paint inside the halves of paper. The flaw of this technique is part of the message. In these multi-panel pieces, the artist combined the symbols and aesthetics of underground music, totalitarianism, and religion into a commingling of marketing materials and propaganda.
