Happy Gallery is Excited to host a magical evening of Performances including video, poetry and more from a variety of different artists!
Maya is an artist and poet from Florida based in Baltimore. She recently performed her play titled, “the play” at MoMa PS1 and had a dance/performance residency with Otion Front Studio in Brooklyn last summer.
Marcy is a writer and performer in Asheville, NC. She has done work with Black Mountain College Museum and other local art organizations, with an eye on experimentation and failure.
Molly is a visual and performance artist primarily working with web-based and digital media. She is based in New York.
Brielle is an investigative writer, filmmaker, and prank caller. She’s the author of Thoughtcrime Press’ The Curtsy Family, the winner of The Lorien Book Prize and her first novel, The Spud, will be published in the fall with FEATHER PROOF BOOKS, She loves to box.
Doe Parker is a trans poet/essayist from the Bay Area currently based out of Chicago. He has a B.A. in poetry from Columbia College Chicago, and has work published or forthcoming in Callosum Magazine, EOAGH and others. His book, “the good house & the bad house,” came out from Recenter Press in April and he’s working on a new manuscript called Vestibule. You can keep up with him on Instagram @doe.parker
