In this informal writing workshop, writer Britt Julious will help participants turn their personal memories, anecdotes, and experiences into universal pieces of writing. Britt will lead two quick writing exercises teaching participants how to turn everyday situations, experiences, and objects into fuel for telling stories about one’s life. Later, participants will utilize writing prompts focused on mindfulness and self-care to unlead the untapped creativity coursing through all of us. Participants are encouraged to bring a notebook of their choice. Non-alcoholic drinks, snacks, and a take-home guide will be provided.
