An Exhibition by Amy Koenig, Ann Weaver, & Beth Weaver
OPENING SATURDAY MARCH 10TH ~ 6PM – 9PM
Stitching is a slow, deliberate process. To render an image or idea in stitches, one must take it apart and reassemble the whole, stitch by stitch, thereby examining its meaning more closely. In turn, the viewer is called to experience the whole of the work while being drawn in to witness the finite gestures that comprise it.
Amy Koenig, Ann Weaver, and Beth Weaver explore how individual stitches traverse the spaces and connections between physical and digital, corporeal and ethereal, visible and invisible, hidden and revealed.
