Site Red is proud to present a four person exhibition of work by Zachary Harvey, Jesse Johnson, Jessica Stanfill, and Kevin Stuart, exploring depictions of public spaces and the people – friends, neighbors, and strangers – who inhabit them.
When we venture out into the public realm, we are motivated by various forces. The ways in which we interact with our surroundings, and the very things we notice or observe are a direct reflection of ourselves and the goals and anxieties of a given outing. The four artists in this exhibition represent a wide range of identities, and their shared objective of translating their experience of the world and its inhabitants serves to throw those differences of perspective into stark relief.
