Artist Seema Kohli will speak about the influence of ancient and modern Indian traditions and her spiritual quest as manifest in her art.
Kohli’s creative repertoire is eclectic, encompassing a wide range of mediums—painting, murals, experimental installation performance, film, sculpture—expressing unique elements of her style. Her canvas is layered with many stories rooted in tales both imagined and real. She has had over 30 solo shows in cities including Venice, Brussels, Melbourne, London, NY, Dubai, Bali, Singapore, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Bangalore. She has also participated in International Biennales (Venice, Shanghai, Beijing, India), and art fairs (Hong Kong, Basel, Beijing, Madrid, India).
