Join us in welcoming Nicholas De Genova for a campus talk titled “Anonymous Brown Bodies: The Productive Power of the Deadly US-Mexico Border”.

Nicholas De Genova is a scholar of race, migration, borders, citizenship, and labor. He most recently held a permanent appointment as Reader in urban geography in the Department of Geography at King’s College London, where he was also the Director of the Cities research group and then the Director of a research group on Spatial Politics. He received his Ph.D. in sociocultural anthropology from the University of Chicago.
