Party Noire Presents: We’re Turning Two, Y’a’ll! Join your favorite Black Joy curators, Nick Alder, DJ Rae Chardonnay, and Lauren Ash, for our two-year anniversary celebration. For the past two years, we’ve been cultivating Black Joy and have also earned recognition as Chicago’s Best Dance Party in the Chicago Reader. Some of our past two year highlights have included: hosting Jamila Woods’ sold-out HEAVN show, curating our first concert, Good Times, producing a short film, Party Noire: A Movement for Black Joy, speaking about our movement at several conferences and universities, throwing two sold-out parties in NYC, and hosting over two dozen kikis. We dance and turn up in the spirit of celebration and affirming all Black people, especially our queer, trans, and gender non-conforming family. Our anniversary will be no exception. For this very special edition of Party Noire, DJs Hey Rae Chardonnay, Lisa Decibel, Twelve45, DJ Dapper and The Lab3L, and more join us to curate the sound vibes. Special guests, party tricks, and twists await. Get your early bird ticket to the turn-up of September while you still can. Just $10! Day-of tickets are $15, but aren’t guaranteed.
