Retrato de Malinalli con Fruta Temporal
Galia Basail-Mulcahy & André Filipek
You remember when we were trying to go to galleries and you were asking for directions and that person called you güerita? I still remember that. It’s happened to me too. So there is that thing.
I don’t remember that because it happens to me 24/7. The other day a florist repeatedly called me güerita as an attempt to be charming so that I would buy his flowers and so I told him I prefer to be addressed as señorita and he said “pero si eres güerita mira a el color de tu piel” etc. I was annoyed so I bought flowers from a nice guy across the street and waved to the other flower guy as I was buying them, lol.
