Fernwey is pleased to present “Good Times Here, Better Down the Road”, an exhibition of new works by Kevin Goodrich. Please join us and the artist for an opening reception on Friday April 28th, from 7-10pm at 916 N Damen Avenue, Chicago.
Kevin Goodrich is an interdisciplinary artist who works in painting, print, and multiples. His work explores the relationship between digital and traditional routes of image making. Sourcing from the everyday, his painting/prints examine connections between ideas of structure, the uncanny, and the language of reproduction.
Kevin Goodrich, born in 1984 is originally from Newark Vallery, New York. He received his Master of Fine Arts degree at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2013. He has been included in numerous group and solo exhibitions, including the “New American Paintings Exhibition” at the Elmhurst Art Museum in Elmhurst, IL, as well as at Johalla Projects and 65 Grand, both in Chicago. Kevin has been a Lecturer in the Printmedia department at SAIC since 2013. He lives and works in Chicago.
