Nicolas de Jesus has been producing etchings, aquatints, and intaglio prints for over 20 years. He has been coming to Chicago from Guerrero, Mexico almost that long. He and his work are well known and respected by the artists of Chicago.

This year, he brings us his unique perspectives of life in Chicago in general, and the Pilsen community in particular. his humor and social satire are evident in every art piece, and in every corner of those pieces. The bus on 18th is filling up, the paletero man is pushing his hand truck, the iconic aritst, Carlos Cortez is shuffling down the street. Pilsen is full of life, love, as a wedding is taking place at St. Procopius Church.
