Did you know Cooper Black was designed by Chicago native Oz Cooper?
Come learn more about this beloved typeface and its designer through the eyes of Tokyo-based contemporary Ian Lynam. Ian will be discussing the work of Oz Cooper along with different types of printing techniques and Japanese papers that are featured in his latest book. After the talk, there will be a portfolio stroll and discussion.
Ian Lynam is originally from New York and has an MFA in Graphic Design from CalArts. He is currently working at Ian Lynam Design, a Tokyo-based multidisciplinary creative studio founded in 2005.
