D. Edward Davis is a composer of electronic and acoustic music whose work often engages with the sounds of the environment, exploring processes and patterns inspired by nature. Recent performers of his music include violinist Erik Carlson, pianist Ingrid Lee, Red Hedgehog Trio, Soundry Ensemble, Callithumpian Consort, and the Laramie County Community College New Music Ensemble. He is currently based in Amherst, MA, and he is a PhD candidate at Duke University, where he co-founded the Experimental Music Study Group with Will Robin and Joanna Helms. Philip von Zweck is a Chicago based artist. From 1995-2010 he was the producer and host of Something Else a weekly radio program of sound art, experimental music and live performance on WLUW. From 2004-2007 he was the co-founder and co-executive producer of Blind Spot a radio art collective which produced a weekly live-to-air radio program. Solo projects and exhibitions include Performa11, NYC; The Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago; three-walls, Chicago; INVISIBLE-EXPORTS, NYC; and 65GRAND, Chicago. This will be his first solo sound performance since 2001.

Jesse Malmed is an artist and curator living and working in Chicago. His work in moving images, performance, text and occasional objects has exhibited widely in museums, cinemas, galleries, bars and barns. He is the curator of the Live to Tape Artist Television Festival, co-director of the mobile exhibition space and artist bumper sticker project Trunk Show, a programmer at the Nightingale Cinema and creates exhibitions, screenings and performance events both independently and institutionally. Raised in Santa Fe, Jesse holds degrees from Bard College (BA) and University of Illinois at Chicago (MFA). www.jessemalmed.net

Zarzutzki is an improviser of various sorts. He works primarily with misuse and perversion of objects and systems. Virtuosity, volatility, futility, and capability are thought of. Zarzutzki currently lives, works, and plays in Chicago.
