Dec 18th 2010

@ The Exhibition Agency

2351 N Milwaukee Ave, 2, Chicago, IL 60647

Opening Saturday, December 18th, from 1PM - 5PM

On view through Saturday, January 8th

The Exhibition Agency’s final event at 2351 N. Milwaukee Ave. will mix Craigslist with corporate-speak and a little bit of Dear Abby, transforming the gallery space into a help wanted office. Throughout HELP WANTED, a bulletin board will line the walls consisting of services offered and services needed. The curator will be available during office hours to match potential candidates with potential projects—and free coffee will be served. Drop by in person, fill out a form, or send an email to be printed and then posted on the bulletin board. The Exhibition Agency website will be updated throughout the length of the exhibition with new postings.

Have you always wanted to learn about the history of amateur wrestling and just need to find someone to have an email exchange with? Do you have a concept for an exhibition but no exhibition space to host it? Are you the director of a gallery interested in finding someone to create a site-specific installation? Maybe you’re relocating to New Orleans and need to find someone to feed your cat while you will be away for the holidays? Just in need of advice? In particular, I would like to match artists with exhibition spaces and writers with potential writing projects.

Applications will be accepted immediately for posting to the website, but office hours will not be held until December 18th.
